My care giving experience started at 17 y/o age. My grandfather who has passed away became ill and needed around the clock care. I was eager to learn and assist with his daily needs, i.e, peg tube, colostomy reservoir, oral hygiene and bed baths. I did this for 4 years until he passed on. I continued by working as a DSW with a brother and sister whohad muscular dystrophy. I pursued my education in teaching and soon realized MY passion was health care. Where I recently completed the Clinical Certified Medical Assistant Program.
