Hello! My name is Kay, I am a 37 y/o, female, California native who recently moved to New Orleans, LA. I received my Occupational Therapy M. S. degree in 2014, worked as an OT for a little while in NY, then was activated by the Army for a while. Now I am in the process of transferring my OT license and get back into the OT workforce. My experience with providing skilled OT services includes working in a rehab setting for adults, helping them accomplish basic to instrumental activities of daily living (ADL), providing patient/family education, ordering and training patient/family members on adaptive equipment, and help patients to be as independent as possible while maintaining safety, despite what limiting conditions, diseases, temporary or permanent restrictions they may have. I have completed many internships as part of my rigorous studies and have treated a variety of conditions in mental health, physical and neurological disorders. I enjoy working with the adult population. My rates are based on 8-hours per day but I am flexible and negotiable with varying situations. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
