I have been a teacher with the Rapides Parish School Board for 7 years. I have a bachelor of science degree in psychology with a concentration in substance abuse counseling. I received a master of arts in education in 2009. I have been furthering my career in ABA therapy, a therapy to help children with autism improve their quality of lives through specific techniques. I am looking to gain experience in working with children of special needs . I understand the needs of both the parents and the children and would love the opportunity to give back to those in need.
