Hello! My name is Jordan Poindexter and I am a graduate occupational therapy student at Columbia University. Prior to attending my Masters program, I worked as a special education teaching assistant for two years where I was responsible for assisting a teacher to help our students with academics, feeding, toileting, and personal care/hygiene. I have a passion for helping people and this is exemplified in my work and education experience. I plan on working with both pediatric and geriatric populations when I obtain my occupational therapy degree and license.
