I have lived in Chelmsford for over 20 years. I lived with my mom and during that time she was diagnosed with mild dementia, then alzheimer's. I was her primary caregiver for almost 3 years. She passed away April 3, 2010. I have retired from my public school position in January 2016. Since my mom passed I have a strong desire to work with the elderly. I worked for a company in Bedford with Seniors for 6 months. I was working part time with a 96 year old gentlemen with dementia in Dracut.
I have also worked with children with severe disabilities for over 20 years. I am quite willing and able to work with any type of disibilities.. Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.

My family hired Kathie last year for 3 mornings a week as our first babysitter / nanny experience. Boy was I nervous! My children are 6 and 4 now, and 5 and 3 at the time. What a wonderful experience! As a school teacher, they have not seen her since June, but still talk about her and the fun they had. She was incredibly reliable, always on time and never missed a day. She is open and honest, calm and did every thing asked of her and more. My two young energetic boys were always well-behaved with her consistent, clear, calm expectations. She is friendly, experienced and a fabulous addition to our family. I work part-time and would not hesitate to have her as our full-time care if we needed it.
