Penelope’s Bio
I became a care giver because I like to take care of people in general. I took care of my grand parents when I was a teenager while my parents were working, I waitressed for many years while in college, and I raged two daughters alone while working part time as a teacher. Lately I worked full time as a personal care assistant for over a year, for a disable lady with respiratory and a lot of other health issues. I did all care of the disabled person including: bathing, dressing and feeding, prepared meals, shopping and housekeeping , managed medication, assisted patient in all her medical needs and managing time and priorities. I also worked for a couple of months as a companion to an old patient who was in hospice care. It is a rewarding work to take care of someone and make a difference in his life . I am proud of doing it and I love it.
