What I believe will make me a compassionate caregiver is my past experience as a patient. In 2017 I was involved in a motor vehicle accident that almost robbed me of my life, and through this experience I have learned first hand the patience, care, and understanding a patient needs. I believe that we may not always know how to relate to every patients unique situation, but acknowledging the patients pain, frustration and limitation are what's important so that they may have a better recovery/quality of life.
