I’m Emily and I live in Southborough/Marlborough line.
After becoming a caregiver to my mom who had AML & transplant, I was inspired to go back to school to purse my nursing degree. I graduated with my BSN RN in 2019 ( my previous undergrad is in psychology) . Through my clinicals and preceptorship I have worked in a multitude of areas along with working as a labor & delivery nurse.Geriatrics & Pediatrics are my favorite populations. I had to take a break from inpatient nursing to help care for family requiring increased levels of care and just getting back into started some private duty nursing. I am a BLS provider ( Basic Life Support, a step up from CPR fir medical providers).
My elderly father also needed some assistance.
I also have experience caring for the elderly with dementia, and respite care in addition to previously volunteering with Hospice/end of life care.
Caregiving is a part of who I am. I yearn to have a significant impact for whom I'm caring for, while using my initiative, compassion, empathy, sense & sensitivity to ensure their voices are heard along with their families and being that bridge if needed. To have a positive impact, improving ones quality of life , maintaining human dignity helping one become their best while seeing them at their worst, this is why I have chose to go back to school for nursing. I have a huge, compassionate heart and love caring for people in need.

She is reliable, punctual, a great communicator, she routinely goes above and beyond in her duties, and on top of all that, our little one loves her! Emily is creative in keeping her engaged with developmentally appropriate activities. My husband and I have often joked that she is far more qualified to take care of our little one than we are. We have loved both using Emily as a sitter and getting to know her as a person. She has been a gift to our whole family!
