I first became a caregiver taking care of my In/laws and then my father. I am a nurturer by nature. I enjoy taking care of people and homemaking. I am also a chef and have worked as Assistant Chef at a camp where part of my responsibilities were to prepare vegetarian dishes as well as special needs diets for those who needed it. I have experience in other areas as well. I owned and operated several small businesses on the Cape. I am capable of making minor repairs to the home,painting, gardening. I enjoy playing cards,board games,chess,walking and an active life. In the past I have encouraged my charges to be active and play games that help keep the mind sharp. To date I have experience in caring for dementia,cancer,diabeties, memory disorder, and elderly with a sharp mind but blind.
