I have worked as a caregiver for 18 years. As a "live-in" house manager in an assisted living home/s. I am currently working as a CMT/caregiver at our local independent living facility. I am looking for part time work during the day only for right now. I currently care for 16 residence providing medication companionship IDL/AIDL .
However, I've been caring for people for more than 30 years. I've been a babysitter for my family and a family friend's children (ages 2-12). Which has blossomed into my passion for caring for our seniors in/out of their homes. As for activities, that would depend on whom I was caring for. We would plan outings, together. But my family members love to go to the movies, shopping, vacations, dining out, to the theater and do cookouts. I love being a caregiver, I am happiest when I'm providing care for others. I believe this is what I was called to do. My hobbies are cooking, reading/writing poetry, going to flea/farmers' markets. I am interested in wine enthusiasm, art museums, theater, and traveling.
