I have been a nanny/caregiver for all of my adult life. I enjoy working with other people and children to help them succed in reaching their goals both mentally and physically. I also like to become as a family member to the adults and young people I care for. I believe it helps them build up a bond and trust that won't be broken.
My last caregiver position I had was with a lady who had Parkinson's disease for over 20 years. I was her house manager and helped with every aspect of her life. We so enjoyed our time together until she passed on in Dec. Of last year. I had been with her for 10 years.
