I became a care companion to a family member of a family who I was associatated with through a former relationship. The family felt I would be a great fit for I was caring, compassionate, patient, kind hearted, giving and great at lite housekeeping and cooking.
The gentleman I cared for wife preceeded him, he was alone and had a previous care giver was causing harm to him. He had been diagnosised with cancer and was slowing down in abilities to care for himself and needed a caring companion.
I have no certifications and training was on the job.
