I am a 2014 college graduate from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a bachelors degree in Human Ecology with a concentration of Child Development. I am currently employed at the Department of Commerce Child Development Center as an early childhood teacher for children ages 1 and 2. I have worked at several child care centers as a teacher's assistant, assistant teacher and now lead teacher. I have experience and a passion for working with infants, toddlers, preschool and elementary school aged children. As a teacher, I have managed and instructed a safe, engaging classroom, designed and implemented lesson plans, conducted parent teacher conferences and engaged in various activities with children. I am certified in First Aid/CPR, SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) & as a Mandated Reporter. My interests include traveling, arts and crafts and baking.
