My name is Dawnta Wilson and I am 21 years old. I am currently in school majoring in social work. After losing my grandmother to stage 4 cancer, I realized that I wanted to help those in need in my spare time. I helped take care of my grandmother and was just there for her. I realized that when an elder is sick or even living by their self they just want they company to ease everything. I had my first companion case in June of 2016 and absolutely loved it. I build a great bond with mrs walker, she trusted me and that’s what I needed to do my job. I would cook, do light laundry or cleaning if needed, have lunch in parks, go on little trips like the inner harbor etc. I have certified in first aid/cpr. I am actively looking because I lost my client in January of 2018. I am very passionate in what I do. I understand what needs to be done.
