I am a 63 year old woman in very good health. For the past 4 years I have been living with my 93 year old mother. She is quite active so I only help her out with a few chores. I have my doctorate in Counseling Psychology and that experience really enlightened me as to how much I enjoyed other people as well as being able to get along with a wide variety of people. I would see my functions accompanying people on walks, reading to them, cooking, some cleaning, a lot of conversation, medication reminders and other jobs as they appear. I don't have medical training but I can tell if someone's not feeling right. I'm calm and organized in a crisis and could call 911. The only training I've had was in grad school while studying the aging population. I have a great sense of humor and really enjoy helping others to have a better experience. I have references upon request. I only work part time right now so my schedule is flexible. My fees are very negotiable.
