Have been in the direct care support field for the past 10 years off and on. I have worked for and gone through training programs at various different agencies. Before that, raising my own children and attending to the needs of my own parents ( still on going) . I have always been a "people person" and enjoy interacting with all ages!
I feel that respect, is first and foremost . A willingness to offer support to the client at his/her comfort level with attention to their physical as well as emotional needs.
