I am a loving mother of one who is returning to the workforce. I have always had a big heart with an eagerness to improve others situations. Empathy and willingness to learn and help have always been in my nature. I enjoy talking with elderly people and know the importance of their need to be treated with dignity, respect and love as they enter the stages in life that may be frightening to most. I work in the home, cleaning, taking care of pets, administering medications, preparing meals according to dietary needs, aiding in the upkeep and cleanliness of patients and helping to keep their scheduled appointments. I graduated from Ross for Medical assisting and have worked oncology in the past and am currently working very part time caring in home for an elderly couple, one with diabetic needs and the other on oxygen full time. I administer test and administer diabetic medication, clean home and refill oxygen equipment. I chart daily activities and coordinate care with nurses who come and go.
