My husband and I hired Katy to watch our 9 month old son (now one year old) several months ago. We spoke with her references who gave her fabulous reviews and hired her right away. Our son loved her and we felt comfortable leaving our little one with her. She was always on time and always friendly.

Just under a month ago, she failed to show up for work one day. Both my husband and I were concerned as she'd never not shown up for work and we hadn't paid her for the week either. We called and sent her text messages, but did not hear back. It was a holiday weekend so we thought maybe she was out of town and did not have cell reception. However, the following week she did not show up either. We contacted the references she had provided at our interview, but they had not heard from her either.

Since not showing up at the beginning of July, we've yet to hear back from her. She gave us no warning that she would be leaving causing us to miss several days of work and find child care on short notice. Nor has she made contact with us to pick up her last pay check.

We were originally concerned that something had happened, however, it looks like she's been active on this website recently. We're not sure what happened, but whatever the circumstances, things were not handled properly. Therefore we can't recommended her services at this point in time.
