I just finished classes to become a Medical Assistant. I did my externship at a Cardiovascular Office in Okemos Michigan. I have assisted with my grandmothers care who is diabetic and insulin dependent, stroke victim and has the early onset of dementia. I enjoy taking care of people and love seeing at the end of the day that the person I am taking care of has a smile on there face, Also knowing that I have done my job as a employee and a caregiver. I am also familiar with special diets such as low sodium and no sugar for diabetics. I have also assisted with bathing and dressing, personal care.
