I have been working as a care giver since I was 18. Although most of my clients have been elderly people, I feel like it has given me more experience helping the matriarch of the family stay the matriarch. It involves listening and encouraging them to talk about their feelings so they can assess their emotions and possibly voids in their life. I'm unmarried with no children but this has left me space in my life to help friends care for their children. I can honestly say that has been the greatest joy of my life and the relationship as they grow up never stops being rewarding when you create a bond when they're young.
