27 years experience in healthcare. Hospital, nursing home and home care. Private Duty care taker/companion to a woman w Alzheimer's for 2 years. Prior private duty w another woman residing in a nursing home but required more help and companionship for almost 2 years. I have references available from both.
I am registered w the state as a CNA and Private Duty care giver. I am a good cook, housekeeper, and shopper. I am currently employed with 2 home health companies. I also moved in with my parents due to my Mom's health issues. the past year was rocky, she was hospitalized 3 times all w critical diagnosis. She is a living miracle, she is experiencing better quality of life and I feel this is a good time to give her some space and hit the work force full force. I'm eager to get in there HELP others.
I have experience with Physical, occupational and speech therapies. along with baths and showers, weekly nail care, daily hair care, dental hygiene. Errands, Doctor appointments, Beauty appointment, grocery shopping and meal preparation.
Laundry, floors, bathroom, kitchen, dusting and vacuuming, trash, all routine weekly.
I have 2 grown children My Daughter and her husband will be residing in Oklahoma after spending 5 years in Seattle. My daughter teaches High school math and has her Masters in Education. Her husband is a Radiologist and Captain in the US Army. My Son lives in Texas and works for Cole. He is in surveying and commutes to St Louis & Kansas City as needed. He also holds a degree as a Web Designer. I am a proud parent and a lot of love and care to give.
