Over the years I have spent time volunteering with the elderly and working with children. I enjoy spending time with people and trying to give them joy and hapiness by reading to them, having an afternoon at the park, or simply having a great conversation! Life is too short not to try and give time to others. My grandfather lives in Mississippi with my father and I try to visit him once every three months. My dad is his care taker because at 88, he has survere Alzheimer's and needs full time attention. When I do visit him I spend time reading the bible to him and signing to him, both things he loves. Another passion of mine is going on mission trips, the most recent was to Gautemala where I brushed up on my Spanish. I would love to care for someone like my pawpaw on a regular basis because he means the world to me and my dad says that my presence gives him strength. Right now along with taking care of children that aren't my own I care for my husband and our dog flo.
