Hi! I am a 24 year old caregiver. In my past experience, I've help to assist the elderly with meals, showers, and medicine. Sometimes there were days when I've had to take being a caregiver a little further, in doing things like simply singing to some, just so they could drift off to sleep a little easier, or simply reading books or the bible to help ease their mind. It has always been a pleasure doing this type of work, because helping take care of others and assist them with things they need, seems so second-nature. It is very easy to do because I love what I do. Most of all, knowing that I've made a difference day by day, brings more joy than anyone could possibly imagine. It's not always the most stress-free job, but the smiles and "thank you's" make everything worth the while! I enjoy working with others and making them a part of my family in a sense. it's the best experience a person could ever encounter!
