I am currently enrolled at Hinds Community College with the hopes of graduating as an RN in 2017. I have worked as a personal care assistant for over 12 years. I actually love people and caring for others, that is the main reason I fell in love with the medical field. I have worked for the state hospital and had to go through 2 weeks of book and physical training. Also, in 2012 I attended a medical assistant course and graduated. I was CPR certified, they taught us the proper way to administer shots, check vitals, chart, occult blood sample. But I got to say that nothing beats hands-on experience, since 2003 I have dedicated my passion to my residents and making sure they have the proper care.
