When i graduated in 2005 I started working at a Senior Retirement Home in Biloxi and feel in love helping elderly and disabled induviduals. When Hurricane Katrina hit everything that was a personal care job was gone. I started posting papers for work sitting with the elderly for a break for the family or for all day care for families loved ones on personal basis private care self paid jobs. I continued to do so then applied for Direct Care Worker for the State at a facility home with people with intullectual disiblies and after 6 months I was promoted to Physical Therapist Aid. I enjoyed my job & loved my clients I just want to change up and do more of the type of work I love. I am CPR & First Aid Certified as well.
