Deanna’s Bio
I became a certified Nursing Assistant in 1995. I worked in many capacities in the medical profession in Montana for 16 years. Home Health, 3 different hospitals in capacities of CNA on the floor in Neurology, Surgery, Pediatrics, Central Supply for Surgery, Medical Records for PT and HH. my back was injured when working with the lifting of heavy surgical instruments when working in Central Supply for Surgery at St Peter's Hospital in Helena. I went on federal medical disability in 2007. After many years of Physical Therapy I am very healthy and very agile and energetic for a 67 year old. I can't lift over 50 pounds. I raised 3 boys on my own for 23 years. My middle son Wayne passed away at 35 and is buried in Shelton, Washington. He was born in Aberdeen, Washington. I have given notice at my apartment in Montana and am leaving for Washington on the 31st of Oct. I have no job except for Social Security, no residence yet. I have my personal items in storage at Aberdeen, Washington. I was going to choose Olympia to stop and register with Social Security and with the Dept. of Social and Health Services for assistance in finding a place to live and a job. I have a registered emotional support animal that is with me all of the time. She loves all people, she is a 7 year old registered toy poodle named Maggie May. She is well behaved, house broken, does not shed and loves kids and people in general. I have taken her to Hospice in Montana to visit and the patients love her. I would like to have this position as a child cae giver/ nanny. I love children, I do like to sew and make cute clothes for my dog and my charge if allowed. I am a marvelous cook...My oldest son says I am the 2nd best cook in the world...Grandma was the best (my mom). I would like to live in that area for I love to go beachcombing, fishing, crabbing and clamdigging. I like to take treks to pick berries, mushrooms, apples. I used to live on the top of the Olympic National Forest mountain in Camp Grisdale, a logging camp with 53 families, in the 70's. I loved the forest. I had an aunt that had epilepsy but have had no hands on training with the care and treatment of a patient with epilepsy. I am very smart and learn easily, I have an extensive medical background that would help. I still have my resume and letters of referral from when I was a Certified Nurse in Montana. This job would be ideal for me for I love children. If interested we can discuss wages and amenities. .
