I have 10 years of sitting experience with the elderly. Throughout my 10 years of experience I have sat with elders in their 70s, 80s, and 90s. Some of them in poor health and with dementia. I assist with baths, changing sheets, washing clothes and other household duties, administering medication, cooking meals, and being a positive companion. I became a care companion due to my passion for helping others. I love making a difference in someone's life - - both the elderly and their family members. I’m great at what I do because I truly care for the person and the family. I strive to make sure they are well taken care of. I love to do special things like bring them their favorite foods or take them outside on a beautiful day to get some sunshine - help improve their quality of life. I provide care and compassion. Elderly people have some much wisdom to share and I love to listen and learn.
