Caroline’s Bio
I am a student from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, a senior majoring in Recreation Therapy. I will be spending fall and spring semester in Charlotte and would love to have the opportunity to work with your family. My passion for the elderly began at the age of twelve when I started volunteering at a nursing home. I continued to volunteer throughout high school, and soon found that I would be able to pursue this passion with a career in recreation therapy. I have a great passion for older adults of all ability. I have experience caring for individuals in-home and in long-term care settings.
I believe that it is most important to be warm and engaging. I create a safe environment in which each individual's need for autonomy and independence is respected.
