Often times people compliment me on how friendly and approachable I am regardless of whether it is in the neighborhood grocery store or at the local neighborhood mall. I like to consider myself health conscious and on a wellness journey in which I actively go to the gym to exercise
3-4 times a week. I believe in encouraging a positive and spiritual outlook.
I receive great joy being around and assisting senior citizens while spending time talking to them, and fellowshipping with them. Showing care and concern and being a blanket of security for elders is something that I find comes natural to me.
I'm currently a mentor with CMS school system where I tutor/mentor students and honestly, it would bring me equal joy to provide the same type of educational, instructional, spiritual and wellness assistance to elders and the icing on the cake would be to see them progress and develop because it is never to late to achieve greatness.
When I think of how I enjoyed being the BINGO facilitator at the local nursing home, or just recently the time I helped provide behind the scene assistance for the senior citizens fashion show, or how I attend on a regular basis the senior citizen's bible study group at my church, it will always serve as a humble reminder of how my positive disposition and encouraging spirit would make me a great fit to serve as a care companion. As I journey through life I realize we need each other to survive and to put it even simpler, the best is yet to come.
