I got my beginning experience helping take care of a close friend after an accident left them paralyzed from the neck down. After 2 years, they moved out of state. I was then asked by a VP where I worked if I would sit with his mom who had dementia. I did this for 2 years until she went in a nursing home. I was then asked to provide the same care for the husband of the company Production manager. I Assisted him for 2 years, first at his home, then in the assisted care center in Roanoke, Va.until I relocated to Clayton, NC in April 2013. I do not have certification, only experience and a loving and caring personality.
