Tamara’s Bio
I am a 48 year old women with past experience working with people that have developmental disabilities and children of all ages and skill levels. I have a BSW from the University Wisconsin Milwaukee specializing in DD. I Have been a stay at home mom for 20 years while watching children in my home and substitute teaching. My youngest child is a junior in high school and my only child left at home. I also have two other adult children. I would love to find work where I can feel I am making a difference in someones life and the community.
I do volunteer work for two animal protection agencies, JCAPL and SPCA. While raising my children I also spent a large amount of time assist teachers in schools in my area. I also have 8 years of past experience teaching infant/child and adult CPR through the Red Cross. My certification has long expired but I am willing to retake the course. My preference would be a job working part time while my daughter is at school. Adults or teens with DD Would be my preferred companions to assist but I'm also open to the elderly.
