CNA / SPECIAL NEEDS PROVIDER
I am licensed for CNA 1 & 2, geriatrics, and medication administration for the state of NC. I have worked with the Elderly for 15 years and have worked with persons with special needs aging from 7 years old to 60 years old for 11 years. I have worked in client’s homes, group homes, and had clients out in the community. Working with different people is always a joy and experience. I have worked with persons that have MR to Spina Bifida to dementia.
Things I like to do are going out for walks to visiting over tea or coffee. I have taken younger clients with disabilities into the community it teach them safety (like crossing the street and not talking to strangers) and the grocery store to teach them the difference in health foods to junk foods. I have also worked in clients homes to keep older family members safe and make sure they have good meals and good hygiene so they can stay in their family homes. Liability Insured.
