I am a trained and certified EMT who rather be a caring companion as opposed to responding to the 911 EMS calls. I currently transport patients to their homes or rehab or doctor appointment. By the end of our journey I have gained a friend. I have experience in taking care of people who can no longer take good cake of themselves and have always enjoyed, even as a young woman friends who were much older than me. Most of my closest friends are in their 70s or 80s. I've always had a desire to work with the elderly. It wasn't until I became an EMT that I discovered the joy of working with not only the elderly but with people who need non medical help.
