With the utmost enthusiasm, I would like to express my interest in working with your family. My skills in client care have taken me from a novice in community service work to an expert in working to develop projects, teams and general effectiveness in this realm. I believe that my passion for quality, strong commitment to supporting the community and interest in benefiting the social services field make me an ideal candidate for the future growth of your team.

I am now working from a semi-retired status and blessed to be able to be able to focus service to one or two clients and/or families.

Historically, I earned my BA in 2000 through the University of Washington, Tacoma and, since then, have earned two MA’s in psychology programs as well as a PhD in addictions. Also, while I did not earn the PhD in educational psychology, I was able to complete all coursework for this program prior to switching focus to addictions. The work through this program and through serving as a professor in a pilot program at a local community Technical College provided me with experience training/coaching adult learners and provided me with an intense passion for continuing this work.

These experiences, as well as the studies required for all thesis and dissertation projects provided much experience in tracking data and toward the development of organizational skills. Working through St. Jude’s Ranch for Children provided much experience in school age programs while all distance learning programs and work in all leadership positions provided much experience toward developing both technical ability and computer skills. And, finally, all of these experiences provided experience in working with early learning as well as adult learning (and focused work with individuals from my personal favorite populations the DD community and the geriatric community).
