About a year ago my grandmother lost the use of her hands and feet. She required daily care at the time, but after rehabilitation and determination she is now much better and able to take care of many of her own needs. I have over a year of experience working with her and we went through several different stages of required care. We went from bed pans and manually moving her from her bed to her wheelchair to potty chairs and walkers to just basic housekeeping and being good company.
I have no certifications in the field of companion care, but I am patient and compassionate. Humans need human interaction and they need to feel like other people care about them. I can provide these most essential needs. I can also do cooking and various other tasks that need to be handled like managing medications, pet care, or whatever needs to be done.
