Over 20 yrs ago, i had the experience of working for a 98 yr old women, that only need some one to be with her, She was able to do a lot for herselff,her daughter hired me to assist her, that lasted for 2 yrs or so.After that I attended a class with Resources for Seniors and became a certified Companion Caregiver,certified in CPR and first. The class taught me a more about care for the elderly in may areas, giving baths, walking with them how you handle them in there different character they can sometimes have. Ive had the opportunity of being a Home manager for Couples and assisted single men and women with shopping , cooking, taking care of scheduling appointments, driving, traveling with diffferent clients. Each client as been long term. I am very dependable and responsible with whom I am assisting . I also have very good references.
