I have recently retired from the Department of Social Services as an Office Specialist. I am trying to obtain a companion/sitter position as a supplemental income. In caring for a disabled mother with diabetes, congestive heart disease and arthritis has given me compassion and some knowledge of care. Although I have retired, I am still have the mindset of learning more, so that I can grow more in order to do and become more. Seeking the needed experience as a companion/ sitter, I am teachable and willing to learn. Being a mother of 3 educated and grounded children, grandmother of 3 has taught me patience, empathy, understanding and life skills to survive decades of the best of times and well as well our county's worse of time. It has been quoted that along with maturity should come some wisdom. With my life experiences and wisdom I believe I can be a true asset to your organization.
