I provide companion care. Assistance with ADL's (activities of daily living) such as dressing, bathing, eating. Light housekeeping.

I love getting to know people, especially the elderly. They have so many experiences and stories to share! People's life experiences, the work they have done, the people they have loved and their family stories make life interesting. I really enjoy hearing these stories.

Most of my experience has been as a volunteer, but I have been working (paid) providing care since 2014. I have experience with dementia, congestive heart failure, kidney disease and Parkinson's. I also have experience using a Sit/Stand lift and also a Hoyer lift.

An explanation about the title. A wing walker is someone who is comfortable with and assists the dying. It is a slang term used in hospice and nursing home settings.
