I recently became a care giver in Virginia Beach Va and found that I really enjoyed the experience. Although I only worked for 6 months my charge and I became good friends. I administered her meds and occasionally cooked meals for this 92 year old Southern sweetie. I chatted with her while I would tend to her needs, what ever they were. Unfortunately, we had to downsize to a 1 story home for my husband's health and moved to New Bern. I'm hoping to get back into companion care and would love the chance to provide kindness and compassion to an elderly woman.
