All of the experiences I have are personal. I do not have "professional" experience but I do not believe you have to have professional experience to deliver professional results. I offer home care, respite care and transportation services. I have experience taking care of Alzheimer's patients and greatly understand the disease and its affect on its victims. My grandmother had it for 10 years and I was one of her caregivers. I am aware of the stages of Alzheimer's and the risks involved when taking care of a patient in the later stages of this disease ( episodes of cursing, yelling, screaming, and sometimes hitting ). I understand how painfully hard it is to watch someone you love slowly fade away from this disease and how hard it is to take care of them. I am a very patient person and patience is extremely important to have when taking care of an Alzheimer's or dementia patient.
