I worked overnight with a ped patient. He was on trach and needed occasional suction. He also required feeding through feeding tube. He also required medication overnight. I charted my work and there where daily tasks to do such as changing tubes and cleaning.

I worked overnight, supervised 3 to 4 CNA staff. I ran the med and treatment cart for up to 30 residents.Some of those residents came to us for rehabilitation straight from the hospital, their care was much more involved. I had the opportunity to work with L-vans, burns,wound vacs and much more. It was a wonderful learning experience for me.
