I've got 3 years experience working in an adult day care facility. I was a programming assistants, meaning I planned and led both recreational and educational groups daily. I also assisted with personal care and hygiene needs as well as special dietary needs as well. I performed assessments with clients to assess current level of functioning both mentally and physically and to identify possible unmet needs and/or unidentified goals. Then I performed reassessments every 6 months in order to identify decline if applicable and maintain as much independence as possible....also, enjoy using my creativity to have fun and solve problems. I love being involved width my clients daily and am a firm believer in "we are never too old to play... "
