At the age of 17 I worked at IHS Nursing home in Derry, NH which has since closed. I worked as an aid and assisted the residents with getting to meals, bringing water to their rooms, feeding them in some cases, changing beds and just sitting and keeping them company.
I took care of my grandmother who was on hospice at home for 9 months. I made her meals, assisted with bathing and medications and anything else that needed to be done until she passed away. I also did the same thing for my grandfather for 3 months at home on hospice before he passed.
I have been certified as an EMT and CPR, AED and First Aid for the last 10 years. I work perdiem at the Hampstead Fire Department as a Lieutenant EMT/Firefighter. I have been caring for people for 20 plus years and have a lot of patience, compassion and knowledge. My patients come first no matter what and my goal is to meet their needs and exceed expectations in everything I do.
