I provide care and companionship for vacationing adults who, for physical, emotional or cognitive reasons, choose to stay back at the hotel or inn rather than join their friends on an outing, and who prefer to not be alone in that time.

I can provide conversation, play games, make the best of the hotel's amenities, watch a movie, be quiet while they read, or be silent while they sleep. Whatever gives the most comfort and joy.

I can assist with dressing and toileting as well as medicine dispensing.

I can also transport people to and from their lodgings (example, the group has gone out for breakfast and all but the one are heading for a hike; I can pick him/her up from the restaurant and drive back to the hotel/inn) -- note: I drive a sedan, the person would need to be able to get in and out of a traditional car .... also, I cannot accommodate an electric wheelchair/scooter, just manual collapsible wheelchair/walker, etc.

or perhaps we could take in a movie or other activity.

While I can do some mild lifting, someone who needs to be lifted from a bed or wheelchair would not be someone I could properly care for. --
I could stay with someone who needs bed rest or a wheelchair, but they need to be mobile enough to shuffle from bed to bath on own, or raise self from chair to toilet with strength of own arms.

I mention that for the good of you and your loved ones, so you can make an educated decision on who you hire.

I am not an aide, I cannot change colostomies, etc.

RATES: sittercity forces us to put in an amount, but what I put was just to fill in the blanks. Rates vary based on distance/duties/day/time, etc.
