Talia C. Care Companion in Egg Harbor City, NJ 08215

I am a 25 year old female currently residing in Egg Harbor City / Galloway area. I have a fiance of 7 years who is a CDL truck driver. I am currently employed part time as a 3rd Key Holder at a fragrance boutique. I do not have any children, but plan on trying after marriage in 2017. Although I am considered "young" to some, I am always told that I have an "old soul." I am very empathetic and when it comes to others my main goal is to make them feel special and keep a smile on their face. Honest, trustworthy, responsible and caring are just a few characteristics that I possess. I have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle with insurance.

I have been caring for a 42 year old woman and her 6 year old son since he was born. We have gotten so close that they blessed me with the opportunity to be his God mother. When she was unable to do so, I would assist her by doing her hair and makeup and making her feel "more like a woman." She has undergone 26 surgeries and I was with her bedside for 10 of them. Although she is becoming more independent my assistance is not needed as much.

My responsibilities included but were not limited to:
- Transporting client to and from appointments
- Supporting in personal hygiene
- Helping client in bathing and clothing
- Performing cooking, washing and cleaning tasks
- Shopping for food products on day by day basis to give client the best meals
- Assisting in daily and hourly medication
- Changing wound bandages
- Physical therapy

I have gained strong skills in providing nursing services. I assisted with the basic activities of daily living at a separate residence. In addition, I am expert in running errands, helping client in regular exercises, providing companionship and preparing nutritious meals. Besides, i am expert in monitoring the clients diet, giving assistance with bathing and grooming and help toileting.

I also engage in daily activities with client such as playing cards, dominoes, adult coloring books and arts and crafts to keep busy and entertained. In the nice weather I like to talk walks and enjoy the nature, and on rainy days eat soup and watch movies.
