I was taught early on to respect and take care of our Elders and or just people in general because you will never know whom you may need to take care of you one day. I use to be a home health aid back in NY. I also took care of my mom who was very sickly. She didn't want her aid to bath her so I bathed her, prepared her meals, kept home cleaned and groomed her, which is everything I did as a home health aide. Also as a home health aide and direct care provider I escorted my clients on appointment, assisted with transferring to and from bed to wheelchair with a hoyerlift . I grocery shopped and picked up meds from pharmacy. I worked in the mental health field for over 5 years. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I am medication certified.
