My name is Patty.  I am 60 years YOUNG.  I have a heart of GOLD when it comes to spending time with SENIORS.  I have a wonderful repore with senior citizens, patients with dementia, etc.  This first came about when my own mother fell ill to alzheimers at a young age.  I learned 'compassion' the hard way.  After she passed, I soon started caring for my mother-in-law. Eventually, we had no choice but to place her in a Nursing Home facility. Probably the hardest decision my husband and I ever had to make. This is where I became very close to many seniors---wanting to HELP them in any way I could. 

When I became 50 years old myself, I became a "Red Hat Lady" -- this is where I became close to many, many elderly women much older than myself.  Most of them, although their spirit was alive and well, their bodies needed help.  I took it upon myself to help them.  Driving them to the doctors; cleaning their homes; taking them to the grocery stores, etc. 

Two years ago, I was called upon to care for a Senior MALE who had issues with Mental Illness.  When his own family "gave up from exhaustion", I stepped in to give them a break. A year ago, a family contacted me to care for their Mom with Dementia. I stayed with her until "the end".
 
I am trustworthy and reliable and no one will treat your loved one better than I will.
