Hi,
My name is Randi, I have been an RN for many years with an emphasis mostly in hospice and home care. I also have experience with private duty nursing. I am always asked what was my favorite speciality and I never hesitate answering, I loved doing private duty. Of course I also enjoyed hospice and home care, however, with private duty I was able to spend more one on one time with my patients, and less time filling out paperwork and going to meetings. I became a nurse to help people and teach them and hopefully make a difference in their lives, you can't do that in meetings, and sitting behind a computer. Now that I am not in nursing anymore my first thought was to become a companion. I still get to spend time with people, and hopefully help them and make a difference in their lives, and if I'm lucky maybe still teach them something to make their day a little easier. The best thing about being a nurse and a companion is I get to learn from my patients as well.

Please don't worry about the pay rates, I am flexible with my time and rate.
