Hello, my name is Janet. I am currently looking for part time work or work on an as needed basis.
I don't have any professional experience in this field, nor do I have any certifications, however, I do have life's experience in caring for someone who is elderly. I am currently unemployed so I am able to care for my mother who lives in my home . In addition to caring for my mother, I also care for my mother in law who has dementia on an as needed basis. My mother is doing well cognitively, however, physically she is not as well. She uses a walker for short distances (inside my home) but a wheel chair for outside of the home. She also uses oxygen when sleeping and with activity and I also monitor/check her oxygen and blood pressure on a daily basis, help with toiletry needs/personal hygiene and disbursement of medicine. I have learned a lot about the care of elderly people and the rewards that come along with it. I have a great re-pour with them and I am confident you you will agree with me if given the chance to meet you.
