I became a caregiver because I live knowing that I made a difference in someone's day. I work currently as an Administrative Assistant part time, and help a family with companion care 2 days a week. I started out as a CNA, moved up to a medication tech, and than into a program coordinator position for a locked Alzheimer's unit as well as taking on the responsibilities of becoming assistant to the Executive Director. My certifications are no longer current and now I am just looking to do more companion care.
